Battle Ground — The Lewis River Rotary Foundation raised more than $58,000 in its 22nd Annual Bacchus on the Block Charity Dinner and Wine Auction on May 14, including almost $9,000 for the North County Community Food Bank and $20,000 in scholarships.

The funds will also provide dictionaries to every third grader in North Clark County and award grants to the Rocksolid Community Teen Center and Relay for Life.

Money raised will also go to some international projects, including the Red Sweater project in Tanzania, ShelterBox habitats, and Rotary’s signature Polio Plus Campaign.
