PeaceHealth Southwest’s Hope Bereavement Services is hosting a Celebration of Remembrance for people to remember and honor their loved ones.

The event is 6:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 14 at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center’s Health Education Center, 400 N.E. Mother Joseph Place, Vancouver. The event will feature an uplifting reflection by Chaplain David Mossholder, harp music and refreshments.

More than 150 people are expected to attend.

“The holiday season can be a very difficult time for people who are grieving the loss of a loved one,” Karen Davidson, a bereavement counselor at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, said in a news release. “While many of us enjoy the holiday season, we know that people who have suffered a loss can feel profound sadness during the period from Thanksgiving to New Year’s. We’re here to help.”
