Prep Highlights: Union boys golf beats Camas

Ben Gruher and Dylan Henry each shot even-par 36 to lead the Union boys golf team past Camas on Monday.

Logan Miller of Camas had the lowest round, shooting a 2-under 34 at Camas Meadows.

But the Titans had all six golfers shoot under 40. Reece Boyce, Hayden Meeker and Seth Finnie shot 38 while Keith Lobis added a 39.

That let Union win the match 148-158 over Camas.

Adam Wourms shot 38, the second-best score for the Papermakers.

Stars of the day

• Brent Spencer, Battle Ground golf, shot a 1-under par 35 at The Cedars to lead the Tigers over Kelso.

• Spencer Tibbits, Fort Vancouver golf, shot a 2-under par 35 at Tri-Mountain, the lowest round against Evergreen.

• Justin Zilles, Skyview golf, shot a 2-over par 38 at Club Green Meadows to lead Skyview over Heritage.

• Logan Hardy and Bobbi McDermid, Hockinson golf, each shot a 5-over 39 to lift the Hawks past Washougal.

• Haley Walz, Fort Vancouver volleyball, had l6 kills, 6 digs, 4 aces and 19 assists in a 3-0 win over La Salle of Oregon.
