The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is looking for someone it called a “brazen bandit” involved in the theft this month of tools from a work site in the Minnehaha area.

In a case that the sheriff’s office called “broad daylight thievery,” a suspect drove to a construction site in the 5200 block of Northeast 56th Street on Oct. 11 while workers there took their lunch.

The man pulled up in an sport-utility vehicle, walked to the site, took some pneumatic tools and drove away.

The sheriff’s office shared images taken from a neighbor’s surveillance camera of the man and his vehicle, and asked anyone who can help identify him to call Deputy Russ Bradseth at 360-397-6008, ext. 5313.
