Evergreen foundation announces annual scholarships

Landover-Sharmel — The Evergreen School District Foundation announced the recipients of its 2017 scholarships honorees.

Heritage High School’s Ernesto Zurita Ruiz and Sara Wu, Mountain View High School’s Valeria Rodriguez and Erin Leigh Dunnington and Union High School’s Jessica Hou and Kameron Schalk all received $1,000 each.

Anna Reed and Maria Renteria from Heritage and Mountain View’s Thamira Skandakumar all earned $500 scholarships.

Kevin Nishi from Union received a $300 scholarship.
