Fircrest — About 400 kids at a late-night teen event sponsored by the Vancouver Parks Foundation received a surprise on March 3: a visit from some Portland Trail Blazers. Players Maurice Harkless and Pat Connaughton, along with Blaze the mascot, BlazerDancers and the Blazers Stunt Team paid a visit to the event at the Firstenburg Community Center. Teens got a chance to ask the players some questions, show off their basketball skills and take pictures with the group.
