Speelyai Bay boat ramp reopens

ARIEL — Speelyai Bay boat ramp on Merwin Reservoir on the North Fork of the Lewis River reopened  Wednesday.
The ramp had been closed while the state Department of Transportation repaired state Highway 503 nearby after landslides.
Pacificorp announced that Cresap Bay ramp, which had been open during Speelyai Bay’s closure, will close until its opening for the summer recreation season on May 26.
