Boys basketball: Camas 69, Prairie 61

Isaiah Sampson had 16 points, 12 rebounds and key offensive board to help Camas to a 69-61 nonleague win over Prairie on Thursday.

The Papermakers overcame 28 points by Prairie guard Kam Osborn.

“He was really able to dictate what was happening on offense,” Camas coach Ryan Josephson said.

Carson Bonine hit three first-half 3s to put Camas up eight at half. Prairie cut the lead in the third, but the Papermakers pulled away in the early fourth quarter.
