Letter: Herrera Beutler bucks constituents

Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, is back in Washington, D.C., after the long congressional recess. During her five weeks at home, she did not have one town hall to gain feedback from constituents.

However, she was able to find time to meet with wealthy Oregonians at a fundraiser for Rep. Greg Walden, R-Ore., and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, R-Wis., Aug. 23 at the Waverly Country Club in Southeast Portland. I wonder if anybody told these three that Portland isn’t in their congressional districts? Follow the money.
