Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, will host a resource fair for seniors 2 to 3:30 p.m. April 23 at the Luepke Center, 1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd., in Vancouver.

According to a media release, the fair will include information on opportunities for learning, recreation, volunteering and entrepreneurship for Southwest Washington’s older residents. The fair can also help connect attendees with resources for Social Security, Medicare and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

“My goal is to make it easy for seniors in Southwest Washington to connect with the resources that can help them pursue their goals and enrich their lives,” Herrera Beutler said in the media release. “As I travel around and talk to people in our region, I regularly learn about services that can help mature residents, whether they are still in the workforce, retired, starting a second career or seeking assistance with their health. I want Southwest Washington residents to be able to thrive throughout their lives.”

For more information, contact the congresswoman’s Vancouver office at 360-695-6292.
