Girls basketball: Prairie 76, Fort Vancouver 12

Brooke Walling’s 18 points led three Falcons in double figures in their 3A Greater St. Helens League win at Fort Vancouver.

Cassidy Gardner had 16 points and Haley Reed 13 for Prairie (10-1, 3-0 3A GSHL).

Fort had six players with two points each, but coach Arlisa Hinton said she was pleased with the effort.

“We had lots of little victories of things we have been working on,” she said. “I told the players these are things we can do against other teams.”
