SEATTLE — Authorities say a motorcyclist was killed when he crashed into a car in Shoreline.

KOMO reports that it was just after 6:30 p.m. Monday when the rider was speeding and weaving out of traffic, according to the Washington State Patrol. A woman driving a Honda was making a left and collided with the motorcycle.

Witnesses attempted CPR on the 23-year-old man riding the motorcycle before medics arrived. The rider was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was later pronounced dead.

The woman driving the Honda was not hurt.
