Camas, Hockinson, La Center each move up one spot in latest AP state football polls

Papermakers, Hawks both slide up to No. 3 positions

Camas, Hockinson and La Center each moved up one spot in their respective polls, and Skyview entered the 4A poll at No. 10 in the Associated Press state media football polls released Wednesday.

Camas received one first-place vote and rose to No. 3 in Class 4A behind Lake Stevens and Kennedy Catholic. Skyview edged out Bothell by a single spot to claim the No. 10 spot.

Hockinson moved up to No. 3 in Class 2A behind Tumwater and Lynden.

Mountain View held at No. 6 in the 3A poll, while Prairie dropped out of the top 10 after the Falcons’ narrow loss to Mountain View last week.

La Center moved up to No. 7 in the Class 1A poll.
