Clark County Newcomers Club donates to Friends of Hospice

BAGLEY DOWNS — The Clark County Newcomers Club donated a check for $4,748 to the Friends of Hospice. Each year, the group selects a charity to support. The check was presented on July 6 to Friends of Hospice President Gail Czech. Friends of Hospice, 2700 Caples Ave., Vancouver, provides funds for the care of hospice and palliative care patients through hospice organizations in Southwest Washington. The Clark County Newcomers Club was founded in 1954 and has more than 400 members. It’s a social group that holds monthly coffees, luncheons and fundraisers.
