VANCOUVER – The Clark County Newcomers Club enjoyed a magical holiday gala Dec. 4 at the Vancouver Elks Lodge. Attendees listened and danced to big band music provided by the VanPort Jazz Band and were entertained at their tables by strolling magician Tony “Magic” Oberio. Hearty appetizers and desserts were prepared by culinary students from Cascadia Tech Academy, one of the Newcomers Club’s selected groups to support through fundraising activities for 2023-24.
