CLARK COUNTY — Seton Catholic Preparatory graduate Sydney Clark was among 25 students to receive a college scholarship from the Oregon/Southwest Washington branch of Comcast. She was awarded a $2,500 scholarship, along with a package of gifts to help start her on her college career. The scholarship is part of Comcast’s Leaders and Achievers program, which offers awards annually based on merit and passion for community involvement. Clark, who will attend the University of Washington to study pre-law in the fall, spent her time volunteering as a mentor, camp counselor and at a food bank. Clark also was a page at the state House of Representatives, and on her school’s varsity cross country and track and field teams.
