Vancouver police seek help locating missing man, 70

The Vancouver Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance locating a missing 70-year-old man.

A police statement said Randy Dean Bates was last seen wearing a green jacket, blue jeans and a lime green face mask, driving a black 1994 Chevrolet S-10 pickup with Washington plate B62834P.

Family members said Bates was not dressed for the weather and left home without taking his prescription medication.

Bates is described as a 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 180 pounds with hazel eyes and white hair.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 311.
