A Vancouver man was injured Sunday night when he crashed his motorcycle on the 112th Avenue offramp from Interstate 205.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m., the black 1991 Yamaha XV1100 motorcycle was traveling north on I-205, took the offramp for Exit 28 and failed to negotiate the curve. The motorcycle went down on its side and slid off the road to the left, according to a Washington State Patrol crash memo.

The rider, identified as Davey L. Ruth, 63, was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. His condition was unavailable Monday morning.

Troopers cited speed as the cause of the crash.
