Ridgefield wrestler Tucker Alexander is the Week 11 Northwest Personal Training high school athlete of the week

Voting continues through 7 p.m. Wednesday

Ridgefield wrestler Tucker Alexander is been voted the Northwest Personal Training Week 11 high school athlete of the week.

Alexander beat out Mountain View wrestler Elizabeth Messman for the honor.

Alexander won the 126-pound division at Werner Gourmet Meat Snack Invitational in Tillamook, Ore., winning the final by technical fall.

Here are the final vote totals:

  1. Tucker Alexander, Ridgefield 233
  2. Elizabeth Messman, Mountain View 189
  3. Reagan Jamison, Camas 180
  4. Emily Strehle, Kelso 82
  5. Parker Dangleis, Hockinson 27

Here are the other nominees:

PARKER DANGLEIS, HOCKINSON BOYS SWIMMING: Dangleis won the 200 individual medley (2:14.63) and the 100 freestyle (51.60) in a meet at Mark Morris.

REAGAN JAMISON, CAMAS GIRLS BASKETBALL: Jamison scored 16 points and hit six 3-pointers and scored 23 points in two wins for the Papermakers at the Luke Roth Showcase.

ELIZABETH MESSMAN, MOUNTAIN VIEW GIRLS WRESTLING: Messman won the 140-pound division at the Yelm Jump On In Tournament, winning all three matches by pin.

EMILY STREHLE, KELSO GIRLS BOWLING: Strehle bowled games of 194, 195, 209 and 202 — an average of 200 — in two wins for the Hilanders.
