Clark County rental assistance available

Clark County will accept applications for 400 households to receive rental assistance, including arrears, beginning at noon Wednesday.

Links, which will be live at that time, and instructions to apply are below. Once all available referrals have been received, the links will no longer work.

Households may only receive assistance one time. Households that have received assistance within the past few months are not eligible for additional assistance.

All applicants will receive a submission confirmation email. Anyone who has previously applied for assistance is asked not to apply again as this delays the processing of applications. Housing providers are working to assist all households that are on the waitlist. Tenants must be deemed eligible to receive assistance.

Applicants without access to internet may call 360-695-9677. Applicants without phone or internet access may get applications through Share at the Fromhold Center, 2306 N.E. Andresen Road, across from WinCo.

The county is working with rental assistance providers to identify additional rental assistance spots. Additional spots are scheduled to open at noon Jan. 5 and Jan 22.

Additional information, including the number of available waitlist spots and types, will be made available on the county’s website, social media posting and the Council for the Homeless website closer to the opening dates.
