Letter: Don’t let Trump run again

By John J. Monaco, Vancouver

The serious nature of Donald Trump being able to run for public office again by far should be the major consideration of all members of Congress. Trump has proven to be a danger to America and the world. His partisan governing by quid pro quo through leveraging folks because of the power of the president is not the way to govern. We are experiencing the impact of his lack of leadership in dealing with COVID-19 by telling states they were on their own. He’s not worthy of future consideration.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
