2A GSHL football: Ridgefield 42, Hudson’s Bay 0

Luke Price threw three touchdown passes and the Ridgefield defense held Hudson’s Bay to 95 total yards in a season-opening 2A Greater St. Helens League win at Kiggins Bowl on Saturday night.

Price threw touchdown passes to Ty Snider, Ryan Jenkins and Isaiah Cowley as the Spudders built a 36-0 halftime lead.

The Spudders defense scored two touchdowns that bookended their scoring. Dylan Parton recovered a fumble in the end zone to put Ridgefield up 6-0 in the first quarter. Sam Everett returned an interception 38 yards in the third quarter for Ridgefield’s final score.

Everett also had a 19-yard touchdown run.

Carter Ferber and Jack Champine also had interceptions for Ridgefield
