Ridgefield’s Wyatt Bartroff is the Week 10 Northwest Personal Training prep football player of the week

Voting continue through 7 p.m. Wednesday

Ridgefield’s Wyatt Bartroff is the Northwest Personal Training Week 10 high school football player of the week.

Bartroff beat out Camas’ Brock Thornburg for the honor.

The linebacker led the Spudders with nine tackles, include two fourth-down stops to halt drives in a 28-0 win over Aberdeen.

With just five teams still alive in the postseason, this will be our final football player-of-the-week vote of the season.

Here are the other nominees:

GABE MARTIN, SKYVIEW: Martin rushed for 188 yards on 18 carries and one touchdown and made big contributions on defense in a 28-7 win over Kamiak.

CONNER NOAH, KELSO: Noah rushed for 144 yards on 20 carries and two touchdowns in a 41-21 win over Auburn Riverside.

BROCK THORNBURG, CAMAS: Thornburg recorded three sacks and caught a 12-yard pass in a 57-20 win over Mount Rainier.

CODY WHEELER, HOCKINSON: Wheeler rushed for 97 yards and three touchdowns and led the defense in a 50-7 win over Rochester.
