N.E. 99th Street to close at 94th Avenue as Clark County crews begin work

The intersection of Northeast 99th Street at Northeast 94th Avenue will be closed beginning Aug. 15 as Clark County Public Works crews begin road improvements. The closure is expected to be in place no more than 40 days, but a reopening date will depend on weather conditions.

To improve traffic circulation, Public Works is making improvements along Northeast 99th Street between Northeast 94th Avenue and Northeast 117th Avenue/state Highway 503. The proposed design will install a missing segment of roadway between Northeast 94th Avenue and Northeast 105th Avenue, at the north end of the former Leichner Landfill.

Future improvements include roundabouts at the intersections of Northeast 99th Street and Northeast 107th Avenue, and Northeast 99th Street and 110th Avenue/112th Avenue.

A detour route map for the intersection closure can be found on the project website.
