Wild pitch in the 12th inning sends Raptors to 5-4 win over Kelowna

Travis Welker scored on a wild pitch in the top of the 12th inning to lift the Ridgefield Raptors to a 5-4 win over the Kelowna Falcons on Tuesday in Kelowna.

KEY MOMENT: Welker got on base in the 12th with a two-out walk. He stole second and went to third on an error before scoring on a wild pitch. Jacob Kokeny set the side down in order in the bottom of the 12th, the last two by strikeout, to seal the win.

KEY PLAYERS: Travis Welker went 1 for 4 with two RBI, two walks and a stolen base. … Trent Prokes went 2 for 5. … Jeter Schueman pitched three scoreless innings, allowing one hit and striking out eight.

NEXT GAME: Ridgfield at Kelowna, 6:35 p.m. Wednesday.
