“Why is there still homelessness despite all this money going toward it” or “How do I help someone who is unhoused?”

These are some of the common questions and misconceptions surrounding homelessness. And on April 27, Council for the Homeless will host a Zoom webinar to answer some of the top questions and debunk common myths about homelessness.

The discussion will explore how Clark County can solve the current housing crisis and how residents can lend a hand to someone who is experiencing homelessness.

The webinar will go from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

The webinar will include insight from experts in the homelessness and housing sector; Clark County Treasurer Alishia Topper; Miriam Halliday, CEO of Workforce Southwest Washington; Victor Ceasar from Vancouver Housing Authority; Adam Kravitz and Ren Autrey from Outsiders Inn, and Council for the Homeless Executive Director Sesany Fennie-Jones.

To register

The event is free. Registration is required to join the webinar. Register at https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_BstE2tKSQRSLYDZT5Hfh_w#/registration.
