Results from the Aug. 1 primary election were finalized Tuesday with all counties certifying their election results.

Clark County had 17,655 ballots turned in out of 91,067 eligible voters for a turnout of 19.39 percent.

In Battle Ground, incumbent Shane Bowman will face off against challenger Josh VanGelder in the November general election for the city council’s Position 2 seat.

Victoria Ferrer and Daniel Dingman will compete for the Position 3 seat on the city council and Eric Overholser and Josie Calderon will be on the ballot for the Position 7 seat.

In Woodland’s mayoral race, incumbent Will Finn was still behind challenger Todd Dinehart but got enough votes to make it on the November ballot.

Mike Lyons, the current Position 1 commissioner for Clark County Fire Protection District 5, will face off against challenger Craig Hancock.

The only measure on the primary ballot, a levy lid lift for Clark County Fire Protection District 3, was defeated with 54.12 percent of voters against the measure and 45.88 percent in favor.
