Girls basketball: Brooklynn Haywood scores 27 points in Union’s win over Battle Ground

Brooklynn Haywood led all scorers with 27 points with five of the Titans’ 11 3-pointers as Union beat Battle Ground 74-23 in a 4A Greater St. Helens League girls basketball game on Friday.

Ava Smith had 15 points with three 3-pointer for Union. Battle Ground’s Skylar Fridriksson had 11 points.

WOODLAND 60, HOCKINSON 28 — Kennedy Bockert led three Woodland players in double figures with 14 points.

Lainey Haden scored 11 points and Jenna Starr added 10 for the Beavers, who jumped out to a 23-4 lead after one quarter.

Siena Brown led Hockinson with 18 points, five rebounds and three steals.

KING’S WAY CHRISTIAN 45, MANNAHOUSE (Ore.) 25 — Addison Bagley was selected the player of the game with 16 points and 14 rebounds as King’s Way Christian beat Mannahouse of Portland at the Queens of the Court tournament at Westside Christian High School in Tigard, Ore.

Marantha Fusco added 11 points and 14 rebounds, and Ally Smith had eight points as King’s Way Christian jumped out to a 25-11 lead by halftime.
