Vancouver police said Thursday detectives are investigating a Saturday suspicious death in east Vancouver as a homicide.

Officers responded at about 5:45 p.m. to a house in the 4000 block of Northeast 137th Avenue. Officers found a 58-year-old man dead in the garage at the home, according to a police news release.

Detectives from Vancouver police’s Major Crimes Unit are continuing to investigate. The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the man’s identity and cause and manner of death, the news release states.
