2A GSHL football: Hockinson 28, Mark Morris 21

Andon Stenersen scored on a 6-yard touchdown run with 2:22 to play to lift Hockinson to a 28-21 win over Mark Morris in Longview.

Mark Morris had tied the game 21-21 on a 22-yard touchdown run by Kenneth Mullen with 7:45 to play. Mullen also ran in the two-point conversion to tie the game.

But the Hawks drove downfield for the winning touchdown.

Stenersen passed for 253 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 48 yards and one touchdown for the Hawks.

The win sets up Hockinson (3-4, 3-2) for a big game next Thursday against Hudson’s Bay (5-2, 3-2) at Kiggins Bowl.
