A motorcyclist was taken to a Vancouver hospital Tuesday evening with significant injuries after a crash involving multiple vehicles north of the Walnut Grove area.

Clark County sheriff’s deputes responded at 6:43 p.m. to the crash near the intersection of Northeast 50th Avenue and St. Johns Road.

The motorcycle rider reportedly suffered significant injuries to his arms and a leg. Deputies arrived and applied several tourniquets until Clark County Fire District 6 firefighters and other medical personnel arrived, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

The rider was taken via ambulance to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, the sheriff’s office said. The rider’s name was not released.

All involved drivers stayed on scene and cooperated with investigators. Detectives with the sheriff’s office’s Traffic Unit are investigating.
