Qualifying NW Natural Washington customers are now eligible for up to 80 percent discounts on their natural gas bills.
The new program, which began Jan. 1, provides ongoing, monthly help with NW Natural bills on top of any other energy assistance customers could be receiving from NW Natural or other agencies.
NW Natural determines eligibility based on household size and annual gross income. To get a discount, eligible customers must make at or below 80 percent of the area’s median income.
