RIDGEFIELD — In order to build a roster capable of competing in the West Coast League, the Ridgefield Raptors spend countless hours behind the scenes establishing relationships with college programs and gaining their trust to send players to Ridgefield each summer.

Those relationships are a major part of the Raptors’ quick rise from an expansion franchise in 2018 to the upper echelon of the WCL with three consecutive playoff appearances.
