Clark County Public Works has begun its summer road preservation work. Northeast 182nd Avenue between 172nd and 159th avenues will be closed Aug. 1. Northeast 172nd Avenue between 99th and 159th streets will be closed Aug. 5.

While Northeast 182nd Avenue is closed for the day, drivers should plan ahead for detours and possible delays, and use Northeast 172nd Avenue.

On Aug. 5, when Northeast 172nd Avenue is closed for the day, drivers are advised to take Northeast 182nd Avenue.

Along with using alternate routes during the closures, drivers should adhere to posted detour signs while in the project areas, which will be in place during construction.

Each closure is scheduled for one working day, although construction is weather-dependent and closure start and end dates are subject to change.

During both closures, local access will be accommodated for residents and for emergency vehicles.

More information about the project, a detour map and project updates are available at clark.wa.gov/public-works/summer-road-preservation.
