Letter: When does life begin?

When does human life begin? The decision by the Alabama Supreme Court with respect to in vitro fertilization brought this question to the front and center. God has provided us with the answer. “For You (God) formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works; my soul knows it very well.” (Psalm 139:13-14)

A consistent pro-life worldview must conclude life begins at conception. Let us not forget the most vulnerable person involved in the abortion debate, the unborn child. For those who support abortion, when do you say human life begins?
