Health care company PeaceHealth announced the appointment of two new hospital executives Tuesday afternoon.

Cherelle Montanye will now serve as chief hospital executive at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Kendall Sawa returns to PeaceHealth as chief hospital executive of PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, according to a news release.

“I am energized to join PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center during this exciting time of growth and expansion,” Montanye said. “I look forward to leading our dedicated caregivers and embracing Southwest and the community.”

Sawa, who most recently worked for Providence Portland Medical Center, spent more than 15 years at PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center in Alaska.
