A Vancouver woman was sentenced Monday to 10 months for cashing checks in her mother’s name, with whom she was living as her caretaker in 2017 and 2018. Read story

Jaxon Jondahl, 20, makes a first appearance Tuesday morning in Clark County Superior Court in connection with a fatal crash Sunday in Hockinson. Jondahl, who investigators say they believe was driving drunk and speeding, crashed into a Toyota Camry driven by Nicholas A. W. Crown, 35, of Hockinson. Crown died at a hospital Monday.
