Stephen F. Austin beats SE Louisiana 51-14

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) — Jeremy Moses had five touchdowns and 271 yards and Stephen F. Austin beat Southeastern Louisiana 51-14 Saturday.

The Lumberjacks (8-2, 5-1 Southland) finished with 438 total offense yards to Southeastern Louisiana’s (2-8, 1-5) 280 yards.

Moses connected with Cordell Roberson for TD passes of 27, 14 and 29 yards. Roberson finished with six catches for 115 yards. Kris Lott also hauled in a 29-yard Moses TD pass, and Anthony Foster caught a 9 yarder from Moses.

Romonte Hampton rushed 7 yards to score, and Gralyn Crawford scored on an 80-yard kickoff return.

Tyler Beatty and Brian Young each threw TD passes for the Lions.

Stephen F. Austin entered Saturday’s game tied with McNeese State and Northwestern State for first place in the league. Next week, SFA hosts Northwestern State for their last game of the regular season.
