A car has knocked down a section of recently installed fencing around a retaining pond near Northeast Tenney Road in Salmon Creek, officials said.
A car reportedly hit the fence sometime around Dec. 21 or 22, said Jeff Mize, spokesman for Clark County Public Works.
The fence should be repaired by the end of the week, he said.
The fence was part of the $133 million Salmon Creek interchange project. The project will provide a new east-west corridor to ease congestion in Salmon Creek and is expected to increase the area’s commercial viability.
