Salmon Creek — As part of Clark County Public Works’ voluntary Adopt-a-Road program, six members of the Salmon Creek Fly Fishers hooked something other than fish on Feb. 1. They went out and cleaned up a portion of “old” Northeast Highway 99, removing more than 210 pounds of roadside trash. Participants were Bob Faust, Dennis Potter, John Shaffer, Gene Caler, Ben Dennis and group president Jay Woodbury.
