Columbia Shores building sells to California investor

A 41,600-square-foot office building in Vancouver’s Columbia Shores development has sold for $6.75 million to a San Diego, Calif.-based buyer, Richard Thornton, who purchased the property as an LLC, according to a statement issued by Portland real estate company Norris & Stevens Inc.

The seller is listed as an LLC, 501 S.E. Columbia Shores SPE, which in 2005 paid $6.25 million for the Class B office building, situated on 3.2 acres at the corner of Southeast Columbia Shores Boulevard and Columbia Way.

The building is 100 percent occupied with six tenants. They include: SmartRG, Schlage Lock, and Columbia Resources. It also is home to Eric Fuller & Associates Inc. commercial real estate firm, which represented the seller. Todd VanDomelen and Charles Conrow, agents with Portland-based Norris & Stevens, Inc. – TCN Worldwide, represented the buyer.
