Boys basketball: Centralia 79, Hockinson 77

Kinai Kiyokawa was 10 for 10 from the field and scored a game-high 29 points but it was not enough to keep Hockinson’s season going.

Centralia made a school record 15 3-pointers and the Tigers went on a 10-0 run in the fourth quarter to beat the Hawks in an elimiantion game in the 2A district tournament.

Ry Paulsen added 16 points and Brian Prigmore had 11 for Hockinson.

HOCKINSON — Austin Steimle 5, Brian Prigmore 11, Kedrick Johnson 6, Kinai Kiyokawa 29, Ry Paulsen 16, Owen Bell 2, Littleton Davidson 8. Totals 28-48 (13) 8-10 77.

CENTRALIA — Kerner 19, Dulin 6, Verduzco 3, Wasson 4, H. Bailey 22, Peters 25. Totals 24-48 (15) 16-18 79.
