PORTLAND — The Oregon Department of Transportation will close all southbound lanes over the Interstate 5 Bridge on Saturday night.
The closure extends from 10 p.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday and will affect vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic. During the closure, people biking or walking can use the sidewalk on the northbound bridge span. Drivers can take a detour using state Highway 14 and Interstate 205 to cross the Columbia River.
The closure will allow ODOT crews to perform electrical work and other bridge maintenance.
