Donahue, Eakins lead Washougal girls to Lady Trapper title

Aleski Donahue and Emily Eakins sons weight-class titles to lead the Washougal girls wrestling team to a win over Union at the Fort Vancouver Lady Trapper Invitational.

Washougal earned 165 points to edge Union’s 156 to take the team title.

Donahue won at 125-pounds and Eakins took the 190-pound division.

Union had three individual champions — Riley Aamold (130), Krista Warren (140) and Annabelle Helm (145).

Eliana Duff of Fort Vancouver won the 110-pound division on her home mat, which was donated to Fort by Great Western Malting of Vancouver.

Other local champions included Abbie Huft of Mountain View (100), Hikaru Abe (105) and Cece Sayler (170) of Skyview and Hailey Johnson (115) and Samantha Worley (120) of Columbia-White Salmon.
