Gramor Development announced has secured $60 million in loans to fund the building of a large Oregon shopping center. Construction on the complex, on the Southwest Barrows Road border between Tigard and Beaverton, Ore., will begin this week.

A major retail developer in Clark County, Tualatin, Ore.-based Gramor is the lead in a joint effort with the city to resurrect Vancouver’s Columbia River waterfront by transforming a 32-acre former industrial site into midrise condominiums, offices, boutiques and restaurants. No timeline has been set for that project.
