Kissa Melissa wins Big A feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Kissa Melissa, the 6-5 favorite, rallied to beat Freud’s Notebook by 112 lengths Wednesday in the $43,700 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.

A 6-year-old, Kissa Melissa beat only three rivals for her 13th career win in 42 starts. Ramon Dominguez, who had three winners on the day, was aboard for trainer Mitchell Friedman. The time was 1:10.95 for the six furlongs.

Kissa Melissa paid $4.40 and $2.60. Freud’s Notebook returned $4.60, with Honor Hymn third.

There was no show wagering.
