MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — A quarterback for the University of Montana who’s the son of Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Missoula radio station KGVO-AM reports that 21-year-old Nathaniel Joseph Montana was arrested shortly before 4 a.m. Friday. He was released from jail after posting $685 bond.
He transferred in February from Notre Dame to the University of Montana, where he is vying for the starting quarterback spot.
Nate Montana is due in Missoula Justice Court at 2:30 p.m. Friday.
