Esther Short — Three Vancouver residents were among the eight prize winners selected from across the globe in Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency’s “30 Days, 30 Ways” online game contest during National Preparedness Month in September. For the game, players were asked to complete one to three simple, preparedness tasks each day for a month. People from all over the world — including another winner from New Zealand — took part. Karen Trumbull, Adam Mayer and Chuck Westbrook are the local winners. While the official contest is over, people wishing to challenge themselves can complete the tasks on their own by visiting http://www.30days30ways.com/daily-task-links.
