Chamberlain Bridge wins Monmouth feature

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) — Chamberlain Bridge took the lead in the stretch and drew off to win the $60,000 My Frenchman Stakes at Monmouth Park on Saturday, beating Ju Jitsu Jax by 2 1/2 lengths.

Ridden by Paco Lopez and trained by Ben Calhoun, the 8-year-old gelding ran 5 1/2 furlongs over the firm turf course in 1:01 4-5 and returned $4.40, $3 and $2.60. It was the 19th win in 44 career starts for Chamberlain Bridge, who has earned $1,809,135.

Ju Jitsu Jax returned $7 and $4, and Just Chillin Boss paid $4.20 to show.
