OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) — Crazy About Me took the early lead and then drew off in the stretch to win the $40,000 allowance feature at Monmouth Park on Saturday, beating Magic Mesa by 512 lengths.
Trained by Jorge Navarro and ridden by Pedro Cotto Jr., the 3-year-old filly ran six furlongs over the fast track in 1:10.44 and returned $2.40, $2.10 and $2.10.
Magic Mesa paid $9.40 and $4.20, while Do Somethin was a length and a half back in third and paid $2.20.
